Lots going on in Northeast Ohio that weekend.

- The Bridgestone Invitational was already mentioned if you're a golf fan. Though it is during prime shopping time.

- I believe it is also Football HOF Enshrinement week in Canton, which is not far. Lots of activities associated with that including autograph sessions (wish it wasn't competiting with the National).

- The Indians are also in town that weekend if you want to catch a game. They're offering discounted tickets for National attendees (a link went out via email from the National).

- Not to mention there's now a casino downtown where you can not only double your National bankroll but also has a couple great places to eat inside.

- If you have others coming with you that want to spend money on things other than cards (I can't imagine why), there are a couple of shopping centers nearby. There is a pretty standard mall in Strongsville not far from the IX Center. A little further away but still within 20 minutes is Crocker Park, which is a nice upscale outdoor shopping center.

And if you get really bored, just mention LeBron and everyone from this part of the world will have plenty to say about it.
