Luke, your E95 Bender would look nice in place of my beater. Leon, the Bender oval photo was won in your recent Brockelman and Luckey auction (great experience by the way). I chose to be a Bender type collector for several reasons. One, he has a fascinating personal story; two, he perfectly spans the dead ball era with a plethora of interesting poses and sets; three, he is a Hall of Famer and four, he is still relatively affordable as he is not a household name top tier member. It all adds up to a fascinating challenge. |
