Here we go. I have quite a wide range of Hall of Famer rookie cards for trade, from Roberto Clemente to Cal Ripken Jr., and a whole slew in between.
Many are in decent shape, but there are also many dogs with creases and what not. The '55 Clemente has multiple creases and the '68 Ryan is pretty rough, too. The last scan specifically features a bunch that are not ready for prime time, as the saying goes. The autographed cards of Bench, Schmidt and Carter I got through the mail in the late 70's/early 80's. The Carlton was from an extremely diligent Lefty collector. I'm not sure what I'm looking to get for these, but I am willing to hear what you have to offer and I'll be happy to answer any questions. My 1957-1971 need list is floating around in virtually every thread I've started, so you can check on that. I am very interested in these: • 1964 Topps Stand-Ups (need virtually any in nice shape) • 1972 Topps FB High Numbers (need these in exmt+ shape: 271 Warfield AP, 277 Eller AP, 280 Lilly AP, 304 Dale, 308 Morrall, 312 Marsalis, 336 Marshall, 341 Butkus) • 1961 Topps High Number All Stars • 1963 Fleer BB (need about 20 or so, including some HOF'ers, in exmt or better shape) • 1954 Bowman BB (looking for a starter set and HOF'ers in ex+ shape) • 1958 Topps HOF'ers • I'm always interested in HOF'ers and high numbers in nice shape from the 50's and 60's. • Plus, I'm forever looking to upgrade many other cards from my 1957-1972 sets, so if you have sharp cornered cards in nice shape, I may be able to use some of them. ![]() ![]() ![]() The '74 Dave Winfield to the right and the '78 Eddie Murray are OPC cards. ![]() These are decidely rough: ![]()
