wtb: "R" cards and a 49 Paige

Hi---the endless quest..,,,,always hope to acquire at least one card each time i post...and i recently did much better

....thanks to the kindness of a Net 54 member who would probably prefer to remain anonymous, i was recently able to acquire about a dozen 303As which were just perfect for my modest grade raw set...there is NO doubt the individual could have gotten more money selling in another venue, but after a few e-mails, he was kind enough to offer me the cards at a price even i ( a noted cheapskate) found very generous--always a joy to find people who care more about the dwindling collector community and not the buy/flip/grade mess much of our hobby has become.....it's gratifying to help/be helped by a fellow collector where the emphasis isn't on "winning" the transaction

--prefer raw, decent collector grade (VG- to Ex), but graded cards are fine--- even lesser condition (decent fronts with back damage, writing, small holes, etc) OK for difficult cards--i'm pretty flexible, but flee from eBay BIN museum cards/"i bought it yesterday for x and would be happy to sell to you today at 2x" prices

i'm guessing i'd acquire by outright purchase, but also very happy to try trades if possible using

I have to trade a number of modest or lower grade R313 (25), R314 (60 including some Type IVs), R316 (11), R311 (3), R303 (6) 49Bowman(9), 48Bowman(11), 52Topps(35) and some nice, higher grade 1957 Topps from my youth that i didn't sell years ago on ebay-(and waaay too many pristine 1980-90 sets if you live close and are interested)

-trade cards are very modest grade (some with tack holes, writing, scrapbook residue, many decent looking and some actually VG/Ex to Ex), but would be fine for others collecting decent looking, modest grade (the 57Ts are much better)
