Goodwin Auction - Props To Shoeless Joe!
What a great auction that was to watch last night. I was especially impressed by the Shoeless Joe RC in low grade cracking the $10,000 threshold. So glad to see one of my favorite cards of all time hitting such a milestone. I often find myself "rooting" for cards to do well, not just because I may own one or it's good for the hobby in general, but because sometimes I just genuinely think a card or player deserves the props, or has been under-appreciated.
Of course there was that amazing Ruth headliner, sick piece obviously. But that Holsum Shoeless...that would have been my target, had I jumped in the fray. The iconic 52T Mick also looks to be making another hot run right now, with some very strong prices for 1s and 2s lately. Last edited by MattyC; 01-31-2014 at 09:32 AM.
