This is a great thread. I know Blaine quite well as he handled the auction of my mother's estate last year after she passed away. Blaine will talk your ear off, but at the same time, every single thing he says is interesting, so I love it. I live in New England now, but my wife and I are hoping to get a long weekend this spring, head down there for a few days, and include an auction with Blaine. He usually has some good oil paintings - though I prefer art on small pieces of cardboard.
It's a shame to see such a great T206 collection that someone really took great care of to be broken up and not passed down within the family, but I guess that's the way it goes. Either the family had no interest in it, or needed the money. It sure paid off for Ted, and I'm jealous I wasn't there to expand my modest collection!
