I remember those days when Mattingly was on fire late 1986 that was the time
in which modern cards started to go crazy, after vintage cards hit rock bottom,
in the early 80s the main card guide was CPU and for about 3 years straight
vintage cards kept going down! and the 52 T Mantle went down from $6000
high book to $800/$1500 and you could pick up the ones in poor condition
cheap, in 1984/85 because of that i went through more 52 Mantles in those couple of years
than the rest of my life combined, if i only knew what was in the future oh well!
