An item that looked EXACTLY like that one along with a Nap Lajoie and another 19th century HOFer whose name I can't remember at present were sent to me in the mail over two years ago,
All were signed bank notes and I was told there were more , and that they were obtained at an estate sale when the seller bought some old books the bank notes were discovered lodged inside the books. After my initial conversation in which I told him it was my opinion the signatures were not authentic and would be returning them. I tried repeatedly to confirm an address to return them to. Finally over a month later I received an e-mail and shipped them back.
