Roadshow Baseball Photograph
This is my first time so you guys have to be gentle with me. Carlton told me about you and as I see it he is one of the best.
Last week I took a original photo to the Antique Roadshow here in Jacksonville,Fl. The subject for today is a photo of " Joe McCarty's Dinner" at Jack Dempsey's resturant 1937. In the background is Jack Dempsey , Lou Gehrig and Jacob Ruppert the owner of the Yankees. And of course Joe McCarthy coach of the Yankees. My problem came about when I was assigned an appraiser no more than 35 years old. He was out of his league (pardon the pun). Needless to say I received no face time on the tube!
