I really believe that everybody who comes across a T206 with Howe McCormick stamped on the reverse has a moral obligation to get the card to Ed. The card should not be put up for auction, or sold on the B/S/T.
It's not like a signed T206, which has an intrinsic value. (Though I'd wish people would just send me their signed T206s!) It's no more than a $15 card in that condition. Baseball card Karma, folks. t206 Collector, I couldn't agree more! I was new to this board last year, and reached out to Ed and sent him the 2 that I had and told him to replace them whenever he got the chance. Lo and behold, Ed replaced the 2 within a month or so. It just felt good to help out a fellow collector, and some things are more important than money. Knowing how much time and effort Ed has put into this project, it would be a nice gesture if painthistorian helped out as well. |
