Are MK Old Judge cards collectible or are they looked down on?

Are MK Old Judge cards collectible or are they looked down on?

I have a card in mind I want to purchase but it is slabbed graded bu miss cut (MK). Would appreciate the opinions of the experts here. By the way it is a hall of fame player.
