Hey -- in all seriousness
We have speakers every year
But I think, a "state of the hobby" forum is not such a bad idea. In the 1980's when the National had events such as softball games, trivia contests and seminars the one that drew the most interest was the state of the hobby seminar. I think, instead of just speeches, a panel discussion might be something new and interesting. Perhaps, an auction rep, a grading company rep, a dealer, a collector and a board moderator (LEON) would make for an interesting panel. I would figure about 30 minutes for this -- Rich
