He was with the Pirates and Phillies in the 30's and 40's and died in 1945. I've seen papers, books, and index cards signed but no baseballs.
Would his signature be more valuable by himself or with one of his teams? Would his signature being on a baseball in the sweet spot make it much more valuable than others due to scarcity?
