I have seen the blue-caption cards show up in a lot of 'Type 1' discussions, which had me wondering if I really understood the differences. I only have these two: the single Red Cross and a single Type 1 Coupon, so nothing to compare them to. Also, both of mine are slabbed, so the thinness aspect is lost on me as well (never held type 1's in hand). ...carry on. edited to add: When I initially picked up the Jennings, Leon had to tell me it was a Type 1, or I would not have known. The other confusing thing I've noticed is that when SGC puts the year range on these (either for Coupon or Red Cross), it doesn't always correspond to what I've seen called 'type 1, 2 or 3', so it must be confusing to them as well.
