Show us your Red Kleinow cards....all types are welcome
John "Red" Kleinow was not much of a hitter, but a fine catcher. Red (in 1908) was one of the first to wear the new external chest protector designed for
catchers in 1907. This is illustrated in many of his various types of BB cards (circa 1909 - 1916). May 26, 1910....the Boston (AL) team purchased Kleinow from the NY Highlanders. My T3 Kleinow still identifies Red with the NY team.
