John "Red" Kleinow was not much of a hitter, but a fine catcher. Red (in 1908) was one of the first to wear the new external chest protector designed for
catchers in 1907. This is illustrated in many of his various types of BB cards (circa 1909 - 1916). May 26, 1910....the Boston (AL) team purchased Kleinow from the NY Highlanders. My T3 Kleinow still identifies Red with the NY team. And, this suggests that this T3 was one of those T3's produced by American Lithographic in 1910. ![]() ![]() ![]() OK guys....show and/or tell us of your Red Kleinow cards.
