My Grandparents used to vacation every year in Spring Lake NJ in the late 60,s early 70,s and I remember meeting Gil several times and he was always a gentleman and I loved his stories. He had Phil Rizzuto over one weekend and even though I always was a Mets fan I was in awe as a youngster. RIP GIL
