Dave - Good luck on the quest. I started back in the mid 80's with my first three cards (Lajoie, Joss and Waddell). First I tried to get one card of each major league player, and then I got the minor and SLers. I think I was officially hooked by '91 or so and decided to "make it interesting" (read: difficult), by not buying cards with Piedmont backs. I finally got to 518 this past October and am looking forward to 519 (Cobb bat on) and 520 (O'Hara-StL) in 2010, budget permitting.
