Mine was in September 1987, Cardinals at Mets. 3rd game of the series & the Mets were going for the sweep, & a 1/2 game lead in the division. However, Terry Pendelton drove a Roger McDowell sinker over the center field wall late in the game, & the Cardinals went on to win. It killed the Mets momentum, & they never recovered. I have never forgiven Pendelton for that. It was hard to be mad at McDowell. It was a nasty sinker that Pendelton seemed to golf off his shoe tops.
