Heritage auctions is currently featuring a team photo of the 1922 Mark Americans. They claim it includes Lefty Williams, Joe Jackson and Eddie Cicotte. They even cropped out the respective faces and compared them to the real guys. A critical look should tell anyone that these ID's are bogus - they don't look even similar and of course the ears clearly don't match. These are worse than that supposed 1900 StL team composite on ebay a couple of months ago. |
