Given the position of the head in the cabinet, there is no proper way to make a call using the ears. The chin, nose and eyes are a dead on for an early Bender I own, and even one of his early cards is awfully close. I have many a rookie or pre-rookie photo of various players that have striking differences - look at the Ruth rookie card versus a 1933 Goudey of Ruth and unless we all knew Ruth the way we do, there is very little similarity. Having said that, maybe the seller will give you your money back as they appear to have a great history and a lot of happy feedback customers. Let us know how it turns out. |
