Until this Memory Lane mess I would have thought that leaving the names of 2 or 3 auction houses was the correct course.

Now I think it is not. What is reputable today may not be so when the time comes. Instead, this idea of leaving the names, addresses, and email addresses for 2 or 3 trusted friend / collectors seems the best way to go.
