Most of my collection is ungraded, but I don't crack just to crack. I'll keep them in their various holders because that's how I bought them. My collection is a mess anyway and I'm not so anal that everything has to look the same or be in order.

I have cracked all the Beckett slabs I have ever gotten and they are the easiest. I think there was a thread about it sometime ago.
