Betting on baseball cards article from CNN

It was not so long ago that you infrequently encountered 50s Topps cards in a vintage card auction. Now you rarely see a vintage auction without them. I conclude that they have joined the ranks of vintage cards.

Soon others will join the ranks too. And that is fine with me. Everything has a vintage, even wine made this week; but not everything is prewar, nor is it all 19th Century (only?).
