Like Jay said, no matter how you slice or dice it, an N172 set would be the most expensive. Just the few California League players would put the set way beyond any others on that list. A complete set of poses and players does not exist, either does just a player set, so obviously one has never been sold. So the N172 "set" is theoretical. Also, the T206 "set" mentioned can not be considered a set at all. The cards were sold as single lots and not one group, and even if they were all sold in one group it was still, even as impressive of a group as it was, only a near set before being broken up into lots and auctioned off. |
