Corner Wear too Perfect?

Wow...those are some nice corners. Looks as if an artist rounded them. Or machinist. I would avoid these cards. Just my opinion, but how do 96 year old cards attain such perfect and pretty corners without sustaining additonal damage to the surface, or edges?
