In the early days of Ebay I picked up a copy of the 1937 New York Mirror Yanks, Giants, Dodgers Guide that pictures members of each team, gives their stats, list schedules and gives other misc. info. Later I saw another copy of this guide in one of Lew Lipset's Old Judge auctions that stated in the description that there were only two copies known to exist. It's my understanding that the Mirror issued seperate guides for each team (which are supposed to be easier to find) as well as the less common combined guide. Does anybody have any idea about how rare this actually is and well as an idea of value? |
