buy a raw card of that magnitude without a money-back guarantee that I can make stick. If you are concerned about the card being altered or want to be sure that it passes muster with a particular grading service, offer to pay for it to be slabbed before you pay for the item. If it comes back ungradable, you pass on the deal. If it comes back ok, you finish the deal.
