Take your daughter with you. I went with my daughter, just the two of us, in 1981. We swam together, ate together, laughed and had fun together and she helped me keep track of my cards I was buying. She also met Joe DiMaggio and a picture of she and Joe was on the front page of the KC paper the next morning. She has never forgotten that trip with dad and yes I might have missed a card or two I would have bought, but the trip was priceless. BTW she was 9. I took my youngest daughter in 1986 when she was 5 and she met Bob Gibson and Lou Brock and we did the same things. (She also has pictures of Lou and Bob and her in her apartment and is entering law school). |
