With a LARGE ball point signature of Frisch who has also written "The old flash" No Creases. Pictured in St Louis Cardinals uniform. Simply the finest signed Frisch item I've seen in years. American professional baseball second baseman and manager. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Giants (1919–1926) and St. Louis Cardinals (1927–1937), and managed the Cardinals (1933–1938), Pittsburgh Pirates (1940–1946), and Chicago Cubs (1949–1951). He is a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. He died in 1973. $450.00

102) DIZZY DEAN Vintage color "Sport" magazine 8x10 photo professionally double matted and framed to an overall size of 12x15. Signed on the light portion in ball point. A vintage Dean signature signed during his playing career. Pictured in St Louis Cardinals uniform. Unique portrait photo of a smiling Dean the finest signed Dean item I've seen in years. No creases. During his Major League Baseball (MLB) career, he played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, and St. Louis Browns. A brash and colorful personality as displayed in this photo, Dean is the last National League pitcher to win 30 games in one season (1934). After his playing career, Dean became a popular television sports commentator. Dean was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953. He died in 1974. $450.00

105) 1956 ALL AMERICAN GIRLS BASEBALL TEAM Autographed 8x10 signed by TWELVE. After the AAGPBL league folded in 1954 a team of the best players from the league continued to tour the country playing exhibitions. Signatures are bold except for two. Signed by BILL ALLINGTON (manager), DOLORES LEE, JOAN WEAVER, KATIE HORSTMAN, JOAN BERGER, RUTH RICHARD, MAXINE KLINE, JEAN SMITH, JERRE DENOBLE and three I don't recognize and can't read. Photo has only minor creasing and a small one inch tear on the far right. I doubt that many of these signed by the team have survived $350.00

106) WILLARD HERSHBERGER rare 3 1/2 x 5 original snapshot photo of a young Hershberger pictured coming onto the field in Cincinnati Reds uniform. Nicely signed in fountain pen. American baseball catcher for the Cincinnati Reds from 1938 to 1940. He is the only major league player to date to die by suicide during the season. Died-1940 $550.00

107) BILL VEECK Autographed 3x5 page Inscribed "To Carol with every good wish" comes with original snapshot photo of Veeck pictured with Carol signing the page from this exact 1950 Cleveland Indians autograph book. The snapshot is also signed by Veeck on the reverse "Best wishes to Carol" American Major League Baseball franchise owner and promoter. Veeck was at various times the owner of the Cleveland Indians, the St. Louis Browns, and the Chicago White Sox. A member of the baseball Hall of Fame he died in 1986. Both for $250.00

108) HERB CONYERS 3x5 page from 1950 Cleveland autograph book. Also signed by RAY MURRAY & MILT NIELSON. And signed on reverse by Muddy Ruel & Marsh Samuel. Conyers ONLY major league season was 1950 for the Cleveland Indians Conyers died at age 43 from cancer in 1964. $225.00

109) JOE GORDON 3x5 page from 1950 Cleveland autograph book. American second baseman, coach and manager in Major League Baseball who played for the New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians from 1938 to 1950. He was posthumously inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2009. He died in 1978. $150.00

110) HANK GREENBERG 3x5 page from 1950 Cleveland autograph book. A member of the Baseball Hall of Fame and a two-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award winner, he was one of the premier power hitters of his generation and is widely considered one of the greatest sluggers in baseball history. He died in 1986. $75.00

111) LUKE EASTER 3x5 page from 1950 Cleveland autograph book. Inscribed to Carol. Played for Cleveland 1949-1954. After playing in the Negro Leagues. He is considered one of the premier power hitters of his day. On March 29, 1979, Easter was shot and killed outside a bank while transporting over $5,000 from payroll checks. Easter was approached by two robbers armed with shotguns and was shot twice at close range after refusing to turn over the funds. $75.00

112) GEORGE CASTER 3x5 page from 1950 Cleveland autograph book. He played 12 years in Major League Baseball with the Philadelphia Athletics (1934–1935, 1937–1940), St. Louis Browns (1941–1945), and Detroit Tigers (1945–1946) He died in 1955 $50.00

113) SAM ZOLDAK 3x5 page from 1950 Cleveland autograph book. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for nine seasons in the American League with the St. Louis Browns, Cleveland Indians, and Philadelphia Athletics. Died-1966 $50.00

114) MINNIE MINOSO & BOB WILSON Two individual pages from 1950 Cleveland autograph book. Both were stars in the Negro Leagues and eventually major leaguers. Very early Minoso signature signed shortly after his major league debut in 1949. A member of the Baseball Hall of Fame take both pages for $50.00

He played all or part of twelve seasons in the majors for the Chicago Cubs (1932–33, 1935–38), New York Giants (1939–41), Boston Braves (1941–42), St. Louis Cardinals (1943) and St. Louis Browns (1944). Died-1958 $350.00

118) BABE DAHLGREN 1939 B&W Playball baseball card signed in fountain pen #81. Excellent condition bold fountain pen signature. He played twelve seasons in Major League Baseball from 1935 to 1946 for the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Boston Braves, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Browns, Brooklyn Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies, and Pittsburgh Pirates. Dahlgren is best remembered for replacing Lou Gehrig in the lineup on May 2, 1939, which ended Gehrig's 14-year, 2,130 consecutive game streak. Died-1996 $300.00

132) BILLY SOUTHWORTH Portion of an album page measures 3 x 4 1/2. Vintage signature signed in fountain pen. Southworth managed in 1929 and from 1940 through 1951. He oversaw three pennant-winning St. Louis Cardinals teams, winning two World Series, and another pennant with the Boston Braves, the last National League title in Boston baseball history. As manager of the Cardinals, his .642 winning percentage is the second-highest in franchise history and the highest since 1900. A member of the Baseball Hall of Fame he died in 1969. $150.00

133) GEORGE GRANTHAM & EARL ADAMS Vintage 3x5 on heavy stock. Signed neatly in fountain pen under the small photos that have been attached above the signatures. A tough autograph Grantham was a member of the 1925 World Champion Pirates. He was an American Major League Baseball second baseman who played for the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds, and New York Giants between 1922 and 1934. He died in 1954. $100.00
