This came from a post on Blowout on 3-12-17:
"Famous fabrics are all game used items from the players depicted. The company was an offshoot of In The Game Inc who made hockey cards for a number of years. In The Game was sold (along with famous fabrics) to Leaf sometime around 2015 or so. Leaf took all of the extra pieces that should have been for replacements and stamped them and put them out. Original Famous Fabrics all come sealed in a holder that is just like a BGS holder. The later released ones were not enclosed in those cases. The card and the memorabilia are 100% real"
