Well, there is the use of plural possessive. For instance:

Speaking of salaries, can you believe what starting pitchers are making these days? I mean, an eight figure payday for chumps who would have been career minor league middle-of-the-rotation guys back in the day.

Back in the day. Where the hell did that term come from? I guess they made it up (wait for it) back in the day.

Oh, that reminds me about something "made up" recently. NFTs. Yep, those million dollar digital thingies collectors were going crazy over not too long ago. Those fools really lost their shirt.
