Does anyone have experience or recommendations for re-stapling old magazines? I have some SIs from the 50s &60s that have come apart or the staples have been removed in order to send the covers for autographs by mail. I also have a 1970s Baseball Annual (magazine) that had the staples removed...a clubhouse employee took it apart in the 70s in order to get various pages signed in person. It has around 200 signatures, and all the pages are present, just missing staples.
So, does anyone know the best way to get a good job stapling these magazines back together? Do print shops (Like FedEx/Kinkos etc) provide professional services like this? Is there a good way to do it myself? If you've had experience with this, any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance! |
