I seek advice about maximizing my return from selling a handful of Pacific Coast League balls from the mid to late 1920s. Will eBay or any specific auction house attract the most pacific coast collectors?
Two of the balls are in pristine condition with dark signatures and appear to be signed by respectively by the 1928 LA Angels and 1928 or 9 Portland Beavers. The other four balls appear to be game-used at Wrigley Field LA and are signed by various California stars including Bob and irish Meusel, Ping Bodie, Fred Haney, Babe Herman, Larry Woodall, Arnold Statz, Chicken Hawkes, Johnny Rawlings and Lew Fonseca. One or two of the ball appear to be from 1926 Southern California Winter League games organized by Joe Pirrone. |
