Unfortunately your scanner uses CIS technology for scanning. You need a scanner with CCD technology to properly scan graded cards. There really isn't any setting to fix a CIS scanner. I use a Canon CanoScan 9000F Mark 2 and it does crystal clear scans for coins, stamps, and cards.
