What umpires/executives are bound for the HOF?
Without getting into the merits of inducting umps and execs, who are some people that have a good shot at enshrinement in the future? There's not a lot of subject matter on this topic when searching Google (most articles speak about players, naturally, with some making mention of managers) but there are bound to be some umps/execs with Cooperstown credentials.
I've always thought Bruce Froemming, Walt Jocketty and Sandy Alderson had good cases. Beane and Epstein among the newer GMs. Anyone have any opinions on future candudates? |
