I am hoping that some of you much more well versed on images might be able to answer a question for me...
Using the process by which tintype photographs were/are created, would an image that was taken of another image come out as reversed? My understanding was that the tintype process rendered a reverse image of the subject being photographed. By that rationale...and this is why I'm asking...would a tintype photo taken of another tintype result in a reverse depiction of the original image? In case anyone wants to know why it is I'm asking, I'm trying to get more comfortable with an image I recently saw of ball players that is the reverse of a well known example of the exact same photo.
