Amazing basketball statistics
There are some records that may never be broken. Wilt's 100 point game, 55 rebounds in one game, and the like.
Averaging a triple double for a season was thought out of reach until Russell Westbrook came along this year, and is averaging it through 30+ games. The most amazing stat, however, is Oscar Robertson averaging a triple double for 5 straight years. Only actually did it once, but over his first 5 years, he averaged a triple double. 20 more rebounds over his first 6 years, and the triple double average would have been over his first 6 years.
