FS: Side Written Game Used Bat T206 Player + 1927 Yankees Coach Art Fletcher Mears A9
Beautiful side written bat for Mr. Fletcher dating to 1921. Has a full LOA from PSA/DNA as well as an A9 grade from Mears. 34.75 inches long and weighs in at 38.1 ounces. The bat is uncracked and displays heavy game use including ball marks and grain swelling.
Fletcher played on four pennant winning teams with the the New York Giants, then became a coach for the Yankees. During his Yankee tenure the team won 10 pennants and 9 World Series Championships. He was a coach during the fabled 1927 season for the New York Yankees. He also appears in the T206 set. Unlike several other Fletcher gamers on the market, this one is side written, giving the bat impeccable provenance as being used by him.  Asking $950 delivered. Tom C
