Hey all,
I may very well be acquiring my first signed book in the very near future, and I was curious as to the best way to display such a book. In doing a little googling, I've found that there are some display cases for books, though some say that they aren't great for books as they will cause the book to deteriorate over time. I have also read that it's best to keep the books stacked flat, and in complete darkness. However, I would like to enjoy the signature / book and not have it tucked away forever. I've read some suggest making a copy of the signed page and displaying that instead to get the best of both words (protecting the book and displaying the signature). I'm not really sure where to go to make such a copy though. Any suggestions? Does anyone know how museums would handle such books? Thanks for any help - this is a new realm for me, as I've mostly just collected cards.
