1952 Topps House yellow tiger
I've read a bit about this variety, and the growing consensus seems to be that it's a legit variety, not just a printing error.
But where I'm having difficulty is valuation, since the price guides I have access to don't yet seem to recognize this variety, and there are few auction prices. I ask because there's one on ebay now, a PSA 2, and it's at $305 with one day to go. I'm considering giving it a try, if this card could wind up someday being as prized as the Campos black star. And because I've so seldom seen this one up for sale. What are your thoughts? Worth trying? Or overpriced/overrated?
