And of course there are more obvious indications of it being a fake, indications that are common to most if not all vintage cards. The suspicious aging. The "raccoon" eyes and high contrast between lights and darks. On real cards, the darks blend seamlessly with the colors and suggests shadow rather than making Joe look like the Hamburglar.
