1983 Topps/1983 OPC Baseball
Bought a few boxes of each recently to have some fun chasing and rip open. Truly amazing the poor centering and cut qualities of these cards. Submitted some of the stars to PSA and got a bunch of 8's and 9's. Quite frankly, still can't find a flaw on some of those 9's, but that's the gamble you take. Anyway, I pulled the closest to gem commons/minor stars and trying to decide if I should get these graded. Will obviously cost a fair amount of money to do this...also taking a chance that none of these are 10's, but if I saw anything with condition or centering on the card, I ruled it out. Any advice as to when the best PSA specials are run? Part of me wants to maybe make a run at a 1983 Topps 9 or better set, and I would love to hear from others that have tried this. Thanks.
