If original and displays well, the photograph itself (without signatures) might be worth $500. Panoramas are a scarce format. One problem is the signatures don't display well on the back of the photo. Though, if everything is authentic, it would be rare and possibly unique. It's also a dual genre item-- baseball and military, both which have strong collector following.
The military made panoramas like that for the soldiers. My family has my grandfather's when he served in WWI. Shows he and the rest of the crew of a Navy destroyer, posed for the camera on the deck. Last edited by drc; 03-11-2013 at 08:33 PM. |
