Looking For More Info On This Set

From what I've been able to find the artist, Jerry Doyle, was an editorial cartoonist and this was a likely freelance commercial project for the paint maker. The latest event referenced on the card is 1937. Must be pre1963 because there are no two-letter state abbreviations or zip codes used. My guess is 1940s-1950s but that's about it. Anyone seen any others from this supposed series? Any other info on the issue?
