IMHO they are not strip cards. Not even close. Not all W cards are strip cards. Happy collecting, & happy holidays to all.

1930 W554 Hand Cut Baseball Strip Cards.

Some of the least expensive Pre-War cards available are W-cards because they are strip cards. Strip cards had to be cut out of strips that were sold to grocery or candy stores. They could be purchased as strips, in which case the individual bought the strip would cut the cards out, or as individual cards, meaning that the store owner had cut the cards out. By nature, these cards are extremely difficult to find in good condition, so, as a group, they are less expensive and easier to collect than many other Pre-War cards.
