For the adventurous ....try for a T206 Southern Leaguer "C-H-O-P" sub-set

There are 16 Southern Leaguer (SL) subjects that can be found with these 4 backs. Needless to say, in your search you'll find the brown HINDU version
to be quite tough. The real trick to completing this C-H-O-P sub-set, of any of these Southern Association subjects, is finding their 1910 COUPON card.

Hey guys....as most of you know, I'm not really into graded cards; however, I feel that my brown HINDU Teddy B. was
grossly under-graded by SGC.

The only flaw on this card is this 45-degree diagonal crease in the lower left corner, which barely appears on its back.


I guess I could crack it out and submit this card to PSA to grade it. But, I've never been fond of PSA. Approx. 10 years
ago I got into a heated argument with PSA when they claimed that my 1949 BOWMAN Stan Musial was "trimmed".

I then submitted it to SGC and Derek Grady graded it for me.






Any and all opinions are greatly appreciated regarding this subject..

mighty fine corners on the Ted B. .
I think minimally a 50 would make sense.
I wouldn't send it anywhere else---you know it's a beaut and that's what counts.

Yes, you are correct, a VgEx grade would have been fine with me.

Being as it may, I think I will pop out the Teddy B. from its plastic
capsule and allow the cardboard to breathe.
Brown HINDU cards as sharp as this one are not very often seen.

I acquired this HINDU Breitenstein about 12 years ago. I sold it to a friend at the Ft. Washington Show. He had it graded. Subsequently, we made
a deal and I recovered this card from him. I always thought it deserved a better grade than it was given. Therefore, I cracked it open; and, it will
now reside in high quality mylar.





Perhaps, I will next free my 1910 COUPON Ted Breitenstein card.
