Okay, going out on a limb here since we are right in the middle of a poll about this... if vintage golf is too off-topic for here go ahead and delete it, Leon

![]() I picked up a couple vintage press photos recently and one of them was golf. I don't normally do too much golf, but I loved the photo and figured it might not be hard to identify as it has a fairly good view of his face. It is marked April 1933 on the back, but of course the news tag has been torn off. He looks familiar, but honestly, when I look at photos of Bobby Jones, Sam Snead, Walter Hagen, Gene Sarazen, etc., they all look a little like this dude to me, so I'm obviously not good at the identification thing! Any ideas? Thanks! Mark |

Kind of looks ike Ben Hogan, but he would have only been 21 in 1933.

My first thought was Tommy Armour, but on second thought...no.

My first thought was Leo Diegel but maybe just because of the hat. I will have to give it some thought. Cool photo for sure.
