Okay- it's Friday afternoon so I thought I would tell a baseball joke I heard the other day:
A man is trying to sell to a stranger a talking dog. The prospective buyer is of course skeptical. The seller offers to give a demonstration. He turns to the dog and asks: "What does it feel like when you sit on sandpaper?" The dog responds "Ruffff." The buyer is not amused. "You don't expect me to believe the dog is really talking, do you?" The man offers to try again. He turns to the dog and asks: "What do you find on top of a house?" The dog responds "Roooof." Now the buyer is getting angry. "You're wasting my time with this nonsense", he says. The man begs him to give him one last chance. He turns again to the dog and asks: "Who is the greatest Yankee of all time?" The dog responds "Rooooth." "That's it", the other man says leaving, "and frankly I think you're an idiot." After the man leaves the dog turns to his owner and says; "So who was it then, DiMaggio?" |
