Okay, I made a stupid deal at a card show last weekend. I have two choices, ask the other guy if he'll rescind or just suck it up and not deal with the guy again. |

Well, you should feel cheated, because you WERE cheated. Don't kick yourself in the butt too much for the "stupid" part of it. You trusted the guy because he's a regular. Amazing that a person who deals regularly with you would want to put one over on you (not that anyone should ever do this, but it happens). I think you should definitely confront him about it, and not just ignore it -- you know you're going to see him again at some point. You'll probably feel better that way, even if he denies the crease was there originally. Maybe give him a chance to amend his bad deed. The guy has more to lose if you and other dealers refuse to cut him any slack in future deals. |
