Need a bit of help identifying an old game. Its an antique "spinner" or top that is roughly 2 1/2" tall and has a removeable threaded top, has all the baseball phrases ie: "home run" "single" double etc. around the body so that when you spin it like a top it lands on one of these. Made of metal and marked "Walter Johnsons Baseball Game". I'll try to post a picture later. Would appreciate any help. Thanks !! |

Your spinner was part of this Baseball game. I have seen this game described as circa 1920's or 1930's. i use to have the game minus the spinner. I would say your spinner would have some value especially to someone that has the game minus the spinner. |

I have seen the spinner sell in the $5-20 range depending on condition. From what I remember, the spinner has lead in it - something to consider if you have small kids around. |

I found one of these spinners at an estate auction a month or so back...Unfortunately no game pieces inside the top. |
